What are gulet prices in comparison to other countries?

Gulet cruises in Greece are yet to grown. In last 15 years several gulets came from Turkey and are now under Greek ownership doing Luxury gulet cruises. However while in Turkey competition is truly huge, labor is cheaper and costs ale lower this is not the case in Greece. Prices are not going down and they are keeping their VIP class. So if you wish to cruise Sporades islands, Cyclades islands and Ionian sea islands, you will most likely be able to do this only on VIP gulets, which cost well over 15.000 €/week + extra costs and they can usually accommodate up to 10 – 12 persons.

 

The other possibility you have is to rent a Turkish gulet, start your cruise in Bodrum or Marmaris in turkey and cruise Greek islands (Dodecanese islands – Kor, Rhodes, Symi….) with Turkish gulets. This way you can save a lot of money and still experience Greece at its fullest.

 

All in all prices in Greece are from 30% and even up to 50% more expensive then in Turkey and in Croatia.
