Why Kornati route?

According to the legend, Kornati, labyrinth of sea passages and islands, were created from the cliffs that God had left over after he had finished creation of the World. He threw them into the sea, turned around and concluded that no other repairs were necessary. The infamous George Bernard Shaw said of this group of the most indented islands of the Adriatic and the Mediterranean that consist of 140 islands, islets and reefs: 'The Gods wanted to crown their work, so on the last day, from their tears, the stars and their breath they created Kornati - We believe no other description is necessary.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION

We can not make day by day route description for this one. Why? The answer is very simple. When you reach Kornati Archipelago it can happen you will not want to leave. Also as we marked down this route  as "Nature route", the main goal for you is to relax avoid crowds and have a good time only in privacy of your group while checking incredible flora and fauna this part of Croatia has to offer.

GENERAL DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

ROUTE DESCRIPTION
Saturday: STOBREČ - TROGIR
Stobreč is old Greek city very easy going and away from heavy crowds in Split and Trogir, where over 100 ships have departures on Saturday. This way your check in will be very easy going. Boarding on ship is at around 17.00. Upon your arrival, crew will take care of your luggage while you will be enjoying your welcome drink. When you will be accommodated ship will set sail for Trogir port.  After 3 hours of nice cruise and steady winds we will come to Trogir, which will now already be empty as more then 50 ships leaves from there till around 14.00 in the afternoon. After that it all depends from you. Gulet can be either moored in harbor and you check this really beautiful town, or you can go on anchor a bit outside of Trogir and spend the night at ease under million of stars. 

Early arrivals: you can leave your luggage on board, and go take a swim on a near by beach till your gulet is ready. We can also organize you a daily trip to Split, where a guide will show you an old city centre.

After Trogir  your true adventure will begin. Primošten will already make you forget about all the problems of the modern world as the citry ranks among one of  the most picturesque small towns on the Adriatic with a number of typical narrow streets in the old town core on a small, hilly peninsula.
After Primošten we set sails towards Kornati islands. Wonderful nature, numerous small and large islands (it is said: an island for every day of a year), beautiful sea, all this makes Kornati a unique paradise. They are the largest island group in the Adriatic, counting 147 islands, islets and rocks with total surface of 69 km², scattered on an area of 230 km². They stretch over a length of 35 km and width of about 13 km between Long Island on Northwest, Zirje and Pasman on Southeast and Vrgade and Murter on North and Northeast.
 
VODICE and ŠIBENIK are a bit bigger and more commeriaclized type of towns, but both of them offer somehting special.
Vodice has an abundant tourist offer in the old town center, as well as in new parts of the town where one can find restaurants, discotheques, bars, shops and supermarkets.
Šibenik region is characterized by limestone mountain crests (the Trtar chain stretches towards the south-east, and in front of it is the lower Šibenik-coastal chain), small valleys (Gornje and Donje polje) and plateaus - the bases of agriculture. The vegetation is mostly spruce in the hinterland, and maquis on the coast and islands

SKRADIN AND KRKA WATERFALLS are a MUST SEE places in Croatia. The Krka National Park is a spacious, largely unchanged region of exceptional and multifaceted natural value. It was proclaimed a national park in 1985. With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 meters, the Krka River is a natural and karstic phenomenon. Skradinski Buk (pictures) is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka River, and one of the most famous natural beauties of Croatia. Sightseeing at Skradinski Buk is possible, owing to a network of paths and bridges that permits pleasant and safe walking.

From Thursday to Saturday: ROGOZNICA - DRVENIK - TROGIR
Rogoznica a picturesque fishermen's place that lies on a small islet and is connected to land by a single narrow embankment. Thanks of a great position (34 km south from Šibenik and also so far from airport Split), with a lots of historical monuments, and fascinating beauty of nature, Rogoznica was always considered one of potential tourist bathing resorts of highest category.
 
Drvenik is a village in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, in Gradac municipality, located between Makarska and Ploče. Drvenik lays in two bays (Gornja vala and Donja vala). Drvenik represents a unique symbiosis of sea and mountain beauty with its bay surrounded by the cliffs of mountain Biokovo.

Early in the morning while cruising to Stobreč/Trogir and enjoying breakfast on board, only thing that will be on your mind will be which route you should do next year. Disembarkation will be after breakfast at around 9:00 in the morning.
