Cabin charter Maldives

Lost in the middle of the Indian Ocean? the sumptuous atolls with these islands are almost the Garden of Eden. Composed of some 1200 tiny coral reef islands, Maldives are small spots in the middle of the Indian ocean. Marco Polo named them  "Flowers islands".

 

Cabin charter is ideal for your first sailing experience and singles or small groups not wishing to charter a full yacht. Hire a cabin on the scheduled Blue Cruise in Maldives and join the rest of the voyagers.

From January to May, generally the itineraries are in all South Atolls, from September to December direction of the safaris is to the North Atolls, from May to August it can be both. However this itineraries can vary due to currents or where we have observed the « big ones » such as : Mantas, Eagle Rays, Grey Reef Sharks, Whale Sharks and Hammerhead sharks.

Above prices include the following:

Welcome at Male Airport, air ticket reconfirmation, transfer from/to airport-boat, full board (water, tea and coffee included) cabin to share (70 % extra for individual cabin request), last night can be on the boat or in any hotel in Male depending on the next safari’s arrival.
 
Above prices do not included the following:
International flight to Male, other drinks and tips (generally Euro 30.- per week per person), personal diving equipment, possible fuel surcharge is not included in the above price (price calculated on USD 50.- per barrel maximum)
 
Package for divers - extra 100 EUR/person/week
Including 14 dives per week with (cylinder, weight, Dhoni and guide),
Extra dives cost Euro 15.- per dive to be paid locally.
 
Diving information: (for divers)
Every dive is made from the Dhoni (traditional Maldivian boat). Personal diving gear, cylinders, weight belts and compressor stay on the Dhoni during the whole safari. We ensure a minimum of 14 dives per week, we organise 3 dives per day with the exception of the first day, the last day and the day with long navigation (1 night dive proposed). Extra dive from the package of 14 dives are invoiced Euro 15.- per dive to pay locally.
Each diver must have his personal equipment, we can provide rental equipment. The rental equipment must be asked at the booking, no rental possible on the boat. We will have only 1 complete spare equipment set to help if any problem occurs.
We speak English, German, French or Italian on board.
 
Diving equipment rental price
Regulator, BCD, et computer Euro 10.- per day for each piece, diving lamp Euro 7.- per dive to pay locally. It is not possible to rent diving suit on board.
 
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Full payment is due 10 days prior boat’s departure, for full boat booking we need a
30 % deposit at the time of the booking.
 
General terms and conditions
 
1.      Booking
All reservations sent by email or faxes are considered definitive. All present conditions apply. No reservation will be accepted by telephone. It is possible to take up an option for a maximum of 10 days.  Without a reply we will permanently cancel the option.
 
2.      Participants
The minimum number to guarantee departure is 6 people. However each case can be discussed and eventually arranged. For full boat booking, the maximum number allowed is 16.
 
3.  Payment
Full payment must be received at least 3 weeks prior to departure. We will not accept  participants on board if this last condition is not fulfilled.
 
4.      Amendments or cancellation for individual
In case of amendments or cancellation from a definitive booking, the following fees will be counted:
More than 30 days prior departure:                          Euro 100.- administrative fees;
From 30 to 15 days prior departure:                                     25% of the total price;
From 14 to 8 days prior departure:                          50% of the total price;
From 7 to 3 days prior departure:                            75% of the total price;
Less than 3 days prior departure:                             100% of the total price.
 
4.1.Group cancellation or amendments
For total group cancellation or date modification, the following fees will be counted:
More than 60 days prior departure:                          Euro 100.- administrative fees
From 60 to 15 days prior departure:                         30 % of the total price
Less than 15 days prior departure:                           80 % of the total price
 
5.      Cancellation due to circumstances beyond one’s control and/or cruise direction modification
In case of boat’s major damage or dangerous meteorological conditions, gulet and crew on board allow themselves to cancel the safari partially or totally. Total or partial back payment will take place within the following 4 weeks of the cancellation. Any other claim cannot be asked from the participants.
Gulet’s team and his captain allow themselves to modify the itinerary according to meteorological forecast or bad sea. In this case any partial or total refund can be demanded. These decisions are taken for passengers’ and boat’s security.
 
6.      Diving regulation
In the Maldives the diving regulation is as follows: 20 meters max for first level divers and 30 meter max for second and higher level divers. For this reason all divers must have at least a minimum of 30 dives logged. However we accept al first level diver with this minimum number of dives. We recognize all associations or federations, such as (CMAS, PADI, NAUI, SSI etc. Each participant must have his certification card, his own diving insurance, his logbook, a valid medical certification from the last 12 months. After the first dive and after having informed our diving guide all participants can dive in a buddy pair if they have a surface marker buoy and a computer each.
